Logo mark

The logo mark is composed of four 'L' glyphs in Lexend at weight 740. They are slanted 29.5° horizontally and rotated +90° or -90°. The logo mark is monochromatic and is provided as a vector.

An additional version of the logo mark is provided for exceptionally small viewports, such as a favicon. There is greater spacing between the glyphs to ensure they remain distinct at low resolutions and pixel densities.

The logo mark can also be placed atop a ribbon (see presentation title slide).

Lock-ups

The logo mark can be combined with the stacked or 'Studios' word mark to create a lock-up. The stacked word mark is better suited to social media and splash screens.

Whereas, the 'Studios' word mark may work better on a website navigation bar or in corporate applications. Alternatively, the logo mark can be positioned on the right hand side with the word mark type aligned to the right (see letterhead mockup).

The word mark can also be positioned underneath the logo mark.

Colour

I have used the PANTONE® Matching System to handpick the above triadic colour palette with cyan as the primary. Both black (539 C, specifically) and off-white type is compatible with cyan, whereas magenta and green are better suited to off-white and black type respectively.

Given that the logo and word marks are monochromatic, the palette is mainly for background colours and accents.

Typography

The visual identity exclusively uses Lexend, which is made available under the Open Font License.

Motifs

1. 'L' glyphs in the background. 25% opacity with blend mode average.

2. 'L' glyphs to the side/top/bottom. 50% opacity with blend mode average.

3. Relevant icons from the Material Symbols & Icons pack made available under the Apache License 2.0. Sharp variant, 50% opacity with blend mode average.
